Oats, Blueberry and Nuts

oats, blueberry and almon breakfast clos

INGREDIENTS

    1 1/2 cups raw whole oats
    4 cups water
    2 cups milk
    1 tbsp butter
    Pinch of salt
    1 blueberry punnet
    4 Tbsp almonds-roasted or plain
    Touch of cinnamon

    Optional- honey or maple syrup
    Vegan or Dairy free option: Use almond milk instead of cows milk

MAKING THE MAGIC

In a pot, add in the oats, water, milk, butter and salt. Bring to the boil then reduce to a simmer, stirring occasionally. 
Simmer oats for 10-15 minutes. If the consistency of the oats looks too thick, add in a more water. 
Once cooked, pour oats evenly into 4 bowls. Sprinkle over the blueberries, almonds and a dash of cinnamon.
Optional: drizzle over a little honey
